Privacy Policy
This page sets out what data Hingewise collects when you visit this website, what we use it for, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. We have kept it short and specific rather than vague.
1. Who we are
Hingewise is a brand operating in search and AI visibility optimisation, owned and run by Mr Lam Nguyen.

In this policy, “we” means Hingewise, acting as the data controller under Vietnam’s Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15.
2. Scope
This policy covers personal data we collect through the hingewise.com website.
It does not cover data processed in the course of delivering services to contracted clients. That is governed by the service agreement and data processing terms between us and the client.
3. What we collect
3.1. Data you give us directly
The site has two forms:

Alongside those fields, the form system automatically records your IP address, browser user agent string, the page you were on when you submitted, and the submission timestamp. This technical data is used for spam prevention and to verify where a request came from.
You are never required to submit a form. Without doing so, you can still read all the content on this site.
3.2. Data collected automatically as you browse
We use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-Y4N0TR9M9Z, loaded via Google Tag Manager GTM-5R2PFPS8, to see which pages get read, where readers come from, and what devices they use. It records: a browser identifier generated by a cookie, your IP address truncated by Google before storage, country and region, device and browser type, and the pages and actions on the site.
We look at these figures in aggregate. We do not use them to identify you personally.
Our web server also keeps standard access logs, covering IP address, timestamp, path and response code, for operations and security.
3.3. What we do not collect
Stated plainly so you do not have to guess. This site has:
- No comments, no user accounts, no membership signup.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels. No Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no Google Ads remarketing.
- No third-party embeds capable of tracking you, such as embedded video, embedded maps or social widgets.
- No collection of sensitive personal data. We do not ask for and do not need data on health, biometrics, religion, political views, financial status, precise location or private life.
4. What we use it for, and on what basis

We do not add you to a marketing mailing list simply because you filled in a form. We contact you only to answer the request you actually sent.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file your browser stores on your device. This site sets exactly two cookies, both for statistics:

If you are an administrator signed into the admin area, WordPress sets an additional login session cookie. This does not apply to ordinary visitors.
How you control this: on your first visit we show a cookie choice panel. Analytics cookies are only set after you click “Accept”. If you click “Essential only”, we do not set them. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie icon in the bottom left of the screen.
You also have three other ways to opt out:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Email contact@hingewise.com and we will delete the data associated with you.
Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to read anything on this site. The cookie choice panel uses Silktide Consent Manager, an open-source tool. Your choice is stored in your own browser and is not sent to our server.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data. We share it only with the parties below, and only to the extent needed for the site to work:

We may also disclose data to a competent state authority where there is a lawful written request.
7. International transfers
Because we use Google Analytics and Hostinger infrastructure, some of your data is processed on servers outside Vietnam.
We transfer only the minimum needed to measure and operate the site, we transfer no sensitive data, and we do so in line with the cross-border transfer rules in Law 91/2025/QH15. If you would prefer your data not to leave Vietnam, you can block analytics cookies using the methods in section 5 and contact us by phone instead of using a form.
8. How long we keep data

When the period ends, or when you ask us to delete, we remove the data from our systems, except anything we are legally required to keep.
9. How we protect data
- The site runs entirely over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate.
- Admin access is limited to the minimum number of people, and accounts use strong passwords.
- Hosting infrastructure is provided by Hostinger, with regular backups.
- We collect only the fields we genuinely need, and we collect no sensitive data.
No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we notify the competent personal data protection authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and we notify you if the breach is likely to affect your rights.
10. Your rights
Under Vietnam’s Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15 you have the following rights over your personal data:
- To be informed about how your data is being processed.
- To consent or refuse consent to processing.
- To withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
- To access the data we hold about you.
- To correct or complete inaccurate data.
- To erasure of your data.
- To restrict processing.
- To object to processing.
- To request provision of your data.
- To complain, denounce or bring legal proceedings as provided by law.
- To claim compensation for damage caused by a violation.
How to exercise them: email contact@hingewise.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We respond within 72 hours of receiving your request. If a request is complex and needs longer, we will tell you why and give you an expected timeframe. We do not charge for this.
We may need to verify your identity before we release or delete data, so that no one else can impersonate you.
11. Children’s data
Our site and services are aimed at organisations and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted data to us, email contact@hingewise.com and we will delete it.
12. Complaints
If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, please contact contact@hingewise.com first so we have the chance to put it right.
You also have the right to complain or file a denunciation with the competent personal data protection authority under the Ministry of Public Security, or to bring legal proceedings.
13. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update this page with a new version number and date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will say so clearly on the site before it takes effect. Previous versions are available on request at contact@hingewise.com.
