Hingewise News
Editorial Policy
This page explains how Hingewise News and the Hingewise Blog choose, produce and check their articles, and how to report an error. The sections on choosing stories, production, analysis and independence describe Hingewise News; the Blog has its own section below.
Who we are
Hingewise is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) agency based in Ho Chi Minh City. Hingewise News is published by Hingewise. This policy covers Hingewise News and the Hingewise Blog. Lam Nguyen, Founder, is responsible for the editorial standards described on this page.
What we cover, and why
Hingewise News tracks how AI is changing the way people find information and brands: AI search and answer engines, GEO, SEO and AEO, AI platforms and models, and the policies that shape them, with a dedicated layer of news from Vietnam. We publish in English and Vietnamese so Vietnamese businesses can follow these changes in their own language.
How we choose stories
- We follow official announcements, established news organizations and recognized industry publications in search and AI.
- A story is published only if it has a first-party source (for example, the company’s own announcement or documentation), comes from an established publication, or is supported by at least two independent sources.
- We score each story for relevance, credibility and impact. We skip promotional content, webinar teasers and how-to listicles.
- We check every new story against what we have already published and skip duplicates. When a story adds to an earlier article, we may update that article instead of publishing a new one.
How our articles are produced
- Articles are drafted with AI assistance, strictly from the sources we cite. Drafts may not add facts that are not in those sources.
- Before publishing, every article goes through our verification process:
- each factual claim is checked against the sources;
- headlines, meta descriptions and opening paragraphs are checked for overstatement;
- numbers, years and quotations are verified against the original text;
- articles that fail these checks are corrected or not published.
- Every article links to its sources, so readers can check them.
- The Vietnamese version is written from the English version through the same process and checked against the same sources.
- Cover images are branded graphics showing the headline, not photographs of real events.
Hingewise’s analysis
Each article includes an analysis section headed “What this means for AI-search visibility”. This is Hingewise’s editorial analysis, built on the frameworks and positions we use in our GEO work, such as Share of Model and how AI systems choose which sources to cite. It is clearly separated from the reported facts. Any factual claim inside it must still come from the cited sources, or be clearly marked as our interpretation.
Independence
Hingewise News does not accept payment for coverage and does not publish sponsored content.
The Hingewise Blog
The Blog publishes guides on GEO, SEO and AEO: how AI search works and what businesses can do about it. It is produced differently from Hingewise News.
- Topics. Lam Nguyen chooses and approves every topic, based on what clients and readers ask and on real search demand.
- Drafting. AI helps with research and the first draft, working from a brief and the sources cited in the article. The Vietnamese version is written in Vietnamese, not translated word for word.
- Checks before publishing. Automated checks review sources, links and style. Lam Nguyen then reads and edits the article and checks its figures against their original sources.
- Charts. Charts in our articles are drawn from the data cited in the text.
- Updates. We review older articles when the facts change. In September 2026 we re-checked every published Blog article and corrected the figures and links we found to be wrong.
The note at the end of each Blog article summarizes this process. Corrections follow the policy below.
